Description
Best suited for. Routine cleaning and mineral-stain removal inside compatible ceramic toilet bowls.
Choose this when. You want a cling acid gel that gives controlled bowl coverage at a measured dose.
Choose another product when. You are cleaning marble, natural stone, acid-sensitive fixtures or general bathroom surfaces outside the bowl.
Highlights
Mild acid pH 2.5–3.0. Strong enough to prevent everyday bowl staining and surface scale, gentle enough for daily use without aggressive chemical handling requirements.
45 ml per bowl. Precise, low-waste dose — apply, brush, flush. No over-application, no wasted product.
Prevents build-up. Daily application stops scale and staining from becoming the chronic problem that requires heavy-duty intervention to correct.
Suitable for daily use. Institutional and commercial washrooms that require consistent daily toilet hygiene maintenance.
5-litre value pack. Approximately 110 bowl applications per pack — suitable for planned washroom maintenance across multiple toilets.
How to use & dilute
Routine bowl. Apply approximately 30 ml around and under the rim, aiming for a continuous thin film rather than a heavy pour.
Heavier staining / larger bowl. Use up to approximately 45 ml where extra coverage is genuinely required.
Finish. Allow the product-specific contact period, brush the bowl and flush. Do not mix with bleach or other cleaners.
Equipment & dispenser compatibility
Compatible equipment. Angled-neck squeeze bottles or controlled gel applicators together with a toilet brush.
Use conditions. Keep the product in a dedicated, correctly labelled acid-compatible bottle designed for directed under-rim application.
Not intended for. Do not transfer the acid gel into trigger sprayers, fine-mist pumps, foggers or general-purpose floor-cleaning equipment.
The chemistry
Toilet bowl scale is primarily calcium carbonate from hard water, and uric deposits from use.
Both are alkaline or near-neutral compounds that dissolve when exposed to acid.
At pH 2.5–3.0, the mild acid in this cleaner reacts with these deposits on contact, converting insoluble calcium compounds to soluble calcium salts that flush away cleanly. Applied daily at 45 ml, the contact is sufficient to dissolve what has just been deposited — before it has hardened into the thick scale layer that needs 30 minutes of strong HCl to remove.
Usage economy
Approximate pack yield. A 5 L pack provides roughly 111–166 bowl treatments across the 30–45 ml range.
Control. Dose for surface coverage, not simply bottle-squeeze time.
Coverage control. Use approximately 30 ml for routine coverage and increase toward 45 ml only where bowl size or heavier staining requires it.
