Why choose a pH neutral dishwash over an alkaline concentrate, and what does that trade-off actually cost in cleaning power? Alkaline dish concentrates rely on high pH to saponify fats directly, which is effective on heavy grease but progressively strips the skin’s natural lipid barrier with repeated hand contact — a real problem in food-service settings where staff wash dishes for hours at a stretch.

A pH neutral formulation shifts the cleaning burden onto the surfactant system rather than pH. The blend pairs an anionic surfactant, which forms micelles around grease and lifts it into suspension, with a non-ionic co-surfactant that improves wetting and penetration into food residue on porous or textured surfaces. Because the mechanism doesn’t depend on alkalinity, the formula stays close to skin-neutral pH (6.5–7.5) even at working concentration.

The result is grease-cutting performance comparable to a moderate-alkalinity concentrate on everyday food soiling, with meaningfully lower cumulative skin impact — a relevant factor for institutional buyers managing staff compliance and skin-related absenteeism over a wash-heavy shift pattern.

Sink wash. Add 5–10 ml per litre of warm water in the wash basin (approx. 1:100–1:200). Wash crockery, cookware and cutlery, then rinse under clean running water.

Heavy soiling. For baked-on or heavily greased cookware, apply a small amount of concentrate directly to a scourer before washing.

5–10 ml per sink fill. One 5-litre pack. 500+ sink fills per pack at standard dilution.
