Why it works—
Phenolic compounds — the active ingredient in phenyl — work by disrupting the cell membrane of bacteria. When diluted phenyl contacts a floor surface, the phenolic molecules penetrate the bacterial cell wall, causing the cell contents to leak and the bacteria to die.
It is not a masking mechanism. It is not a cleaning mechanism.
It is a killing mechanism. That is what disinfection means, and that is what phenyl delivers.
How to use—
Dilute add 250 ml of phenyl to 1 litre of water in a mop bucket.
