Product overview
Soap scum is calcium stearate — a chemical compound formed when the calcium in hard water reacts with the fatty acids in soap and body wash. It is chemically bonded to the tile surface, not just sitting on top of it. Rubbing a neutral cleaner on soap scum applies mechanical force to a chemical adhesion problem, which is why it requires extended scrubbing for limited result.
Alle’s ClinX Mini Bathroom & Tile Cleaner dissolves the chemical bond directly. The alkaline pH of 9–10 reacts with calcium stearate, converting it back to soluble compounds that wipe away cleanly with light effort. Spray it on, leave it for 2–3 minutes, wipe. Why it works
| Soap scum is chemically bonded to tile surfaces as calcium stearate. Alkaline cleaners at pH 9–10 reverse the formation chemistry: the alkaline hydroxide ions react with the calcium stearate and reform the original water-soluble soap compounds, breaking the adhesion to the tile surface. How to use
- Spray spray or pour directly onto tile, sink, and fixture surfaces.
- Wait allow 2–3 minutes contact for routine soap scum. Allow 5 minutes for heavy build-up.
- Wipe wipe with a cloth or mop. Light scrubbing may be needed for persistent deposits.
- Rinse rinse tiles and fixtures with water after cleaning.

Caution & storage

Alkaline product. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes — rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes if contact occurs. Do not use on marble or acid-sensitive stone — the alkaline pH causes surface etching. Do not mix with acid cleaners. Store in original sealed container below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep tightly closed when not in use. Shelf life 24 months from manufacture date, unopened. |
