Product overview
The streak on glass is not caused by the dirt you are cleaning. It is caused by the surfactant film left behind when the cleaner does not evaporate fast enough before wiping. Most glass cleaners fail for this reason — the formulation leaves a residue that the wipe smears across the glass rather than removes from it. The result is a clean glass with a streak, which is indistinguishable to the eye from a dirty glass with a streak.

Why it works
| Glass streaking occurs when the surfactant in a glass cleaner deposits on the surface as the water evaporates during wiping. Fast-evaporating solvents in the formulation change this sequence: the solvent evaporates from the glass surface while you are wiping, and as it evaporates it carries the surfactant molecules with it in solution rather than leaving them on the glass. The result is a clean, dry surface with no optical residue — which is what a streak-free result means at the chemistry level. |
How to use
- Spray spray lightly onto the glass surface from 20–30 cm distance. Do not over-wet.
- Wipe wipe with a clean, lint-free microfibre cloth using overlapping strokes, working top to bottom.
- Large surfaces work in sections on large windows to prevent the spray from drying before wiping.
- Cloth care use a clean cloth — a dirty microfibre cloth redeposits residue and causes the streaks that the formulation is designed to prevent.
- Refill fill any standard trigger spray bottle from the 5-litre pack.
