Washroom tile haze cleaning/drying के बाद cloudy appearance है। यह symptom है, diagnosis नहीं। कुछ haze surface पर removable film होती है, कुछ mineral deposit, grout residue या changed finish से आती है।
Cause 1: Cleaner residue
Too much cleaner, wrong dilution या incomplete rinsing drying के बाद film छोड़ सकती है। NPS solution को tile पर dry न होने देने और thorough rinsing की सलाह देता है।
Cause 2: Hard-water minerals
USGS बताता है hard water के calcium/magnesium evaporation के बाद spots/cloudy film छोड़ सकते हैं। Taps, shower और splash zones especially exposed होते हैं।
Cause 3: Soap scum
Hard-water minerals soap से react करके insoluble film बना सकते हैं। यह white-gray haze ordinary loose soil से अलग है।
Cause 4: Grout/salt residue
NPS water-soluble salts से whitish haze/efflorescence describe करता है। Moisture grout/masonry से move कर रही हो तो wiping temporary improvement दे सकती है।
Cause 5: Condensation/persistent moisture
Damp film tile cloudy दिखा सकती है। EPA bathrooms और tile/grout को moisture-prone locations बताता है। Haze humidity cycle follow करे तो ventilation/drying improve करें।
Cause 6: Finish change
Etching, abrasion, sealer whitening या coating damage haze जैसा दिख सकता है। Compatible test clean appearance change न करे तो stronger chemistry बढ़ाना stop करें।
Haze diagnostic check
- Tile fully dry होने दें.
- Product dilution/rinse requirements check करें.
- Clean tools/fresh solution से small test area re-clean करें.
- Water-exposed और protected dry areas compare करें.
- Grout joints में salt/moisture check करें.
- Haze unchanged रहे तो surface/coating damage investigate करें.
Practical takeaway
Tile haze residue, mineral film, soap scum, salts, moisture या finish change हो सकती है। Layer identify करें; stronger cleaner universal answer नहीं है।
