Technical Data Sheet, यानी TDS, manufacturer-provided technical document है जो product properties, intended applications, performance characteristics और अन्य technical details summarize करता है।
TDS content product और manufacturer के अनुसार बदलता है
TDS में product description, appearance, physical properties, compatible applications, storage information या performance data हो सकता है। Exact content और layout manufacturer तथा product type पर depend करता है।
TDS के लिए OSHA 16-section format नहीं है
OSHA Hazard Communication Standard Safety Data Sheets की structure standardize करता है। वही 16-section requirement Technical Data Sheets पर लागू format नहीं है।
TDS mainly technical reference है
इसका purpose आम तौर पर product characteristics और intended technical context explain करना है। यह specification, maintenance या product-documentation workflows support कर सकता है।
TDS, SDS को replace नहीं करता
यदि hazardous chemical के लिए SDS required है, तो TDS regulated hazard-information document का substitute नहीं है। Workplace hazard communication के लिए SDS consult करना चाहिए।
TDS product label को भी replace नहीं करता
जहाँ label regulated directions या legal conditions of use रखता है, वे requirements product के लिए authoritative रहते हैं।
मुख्य बात
TDS technical product information explain करता है; SDS standardized workplace hazards communicate करता है। दोनों complement कर सकते हैं, लेकिन अलग purposes serve करते हैं।
