OSHA SDS section headings और required information specify करता है। TDS उस OSHA-mandated 16-section structure का document नहीं है।
Purpose अलग है
TDS primarily technical-reference document है। SDS hazard communication, worker access to safety information और workplace chemical-safety programs support करता है।
दोनों product label को automatically replace नहीं करते
Product label container-level information का direct source रहता है, और regulated labels legally enforceable use conditions रख सकते हैं।

TDS technical product context के लिए और SDS standardized workplace hazard information के लिए use होता है। जहाँ दोनों हों, वे same exact product और current documentation set से correspond करने चाहिए।
