Stainless steel reflective होने के कारण smears जल्दी दिखाती है। Mark fingerprint, grease, cleaner residue, water minerals या uneven drying से हो सकती है—permanent damage जरूरी नहीं।
Fingerprints/skin oils
BSSA guidance के अनुसार fingerprints detergent और warm water या suitable stainless-steel cleaner से remove की जा सकती हैं।
Grease film
Kitchen vapour और hand contact thin oily layer छोड़ते हैं। Saturated cloth oil को remove करने की बजाय spread कर सकती है।
Cleaner residue
Too much detergent/incomplete rinse film छोड़ सकते हैं। Mild cleaning के बाद clean-water rinse और drying useful है।
Hard-water minerals
Mineral-rich droplets dry होकर spots/haze छोड़ सकती हैं। Repeated wetting polished metal पर भी visible film बना सकती है।
Wiping direction appearance affect करती है
Brushed/polished stainless steel को visible grain direction में wipe करना uniform finish देता है।
Dirty tools new smears बनाते हैं
Grease/cleaner-loaded cloth clean finish नहीं दे सकती। Clean cloth faces use करें।
Smear check
- Surface cool/dry होने दें.
- Clean damp microfibre + compatible mild cleaner use करें.
- Required rinse करें.
- Visible grain direction में dry करें.
- Mark unchanged रहे तो stain/scratch/finish damage inspect करें.
Practical takeaway
Most smears removable films हैं। Steel discoloured assume करने से पहले clean, rinse और dry correctly करें।
