Cause 1: Cleaning residue

Cause 2: Water minerals
Hard water evaporation के बाद mineral film छोड़ सकता है। USGS smooth glass पर cloudy mineral residue document करता है; similar deposits other smooth surfaces पर visible हो सकती हैं। Drying pattern/water spots check करें।
Cause 3: Uneven polish या maintenance film
Stainless polish/protective film heavy या uneven apply होने पर inconsistent sheen बना सकती है। हर stainless finish को polish चाहिए assume न करें; finish instructions follow करें।
Cause 4: Aggressive rubbing या abrasion

Controlled compatible clean के बाद dullness रहे तो finish inspect करें। Scratches, wear, altered brushing maintenance issues हैं, soil नहीं। GSA deteriorated original finishes report करने को कहता है, बिना finish-specific instructions restoration attempt नहीं।
