Haze glass या mirror पर cloudy/low-clarity appearance है जो surface के part या पूरे area पर रहती है। कुछ haze removable film होती है; कुछ mineral deposits, condensation या glass/coating/mirror system damage से आती है। पहले possibilities अलग करें।
Cause 1: Product residue
Too much cleaner, incorrect dilution या spent solution remove किए बिना repeated application fine film छोड़ सकती है। CDC manufacturer-specified dilution और required residue removal पर जोर देता है।
Cause 2: Hard-water minerals
USGS hard water को glass पर cloudy film और spots का common cause बताता है। Water evaporate होने पर calcium/magnesium remain कर सकते हैं और repeated wetting deposit बढ़ा सकती है।
Cause 3: Oily या mixed soil
Skin oils, cooking aerosol, polishing compounds या other contamination diffuse film बना सकते हैं जो individual streaks की बजाय haze जैसी दिखती है। Dirty cloth contamination को larger area में spread कर सकती है।
Cause 4: Condensation
Temporary fogging soil की बजाय moisture हो सकती है। USGS बताता है humid air cooler surface से contact करने पर condensation बनती है। Haze temperature/humidity changes के साथ आती-जाती हो तो cleaning underlying solution नहीं है।
Cause 5: Surface या coating change
Controlled clean haze change न करे तो scratching, etching, coating deterioration या mirror backing problems inspect करें। ये maintenance conditions हैं, ordinary soil नहीं; stronger cleaning इन्हें worse कर सकती है।
Practical haze check
- Surface को normal temperature तक आने और fully dry होने दें.
- Correct low-residue product और fresh wiping material से small area clean करें.
- Different angles/light में test area compare करें.
- Test clear हो तो residue, cloth condition और water quality troubleshoot करें.
- Clear न हो तो chemistry बढ़ाना stop करें और mineral scale या surface/coating damage inspect करें.
