Cleaning-chemical compatibility यह बताती है कि finished cleaning product उस surface, equipment, supplies और approved process के साथ कैसे behave करता है जिसमें उसे use किया जाता है। Compatibility product-specific होती है और केवल chemical family name से assume नहीं करनी चाहिए।
Surface compatibility
Compatible product intended conditions में unacceptable corrosion, discoloration, softening, swelling, cracking या अन्य material damage नहीं करना चाहिए।
Equipment compatibility
Cleaning equipment में metals, seals, plastics, hoses, pumps और coatings हो सकते हैं जिनकी chemical tolerances अलग होती हैं। इसलिए equipment-maker guidance compatibility assessment का हिस्सा है।
Supplies system को प्रभावित कर सकती हैं
CDC बताता है कि disinfectants cleaning supplies जैसे cloths और use में आने वाले अन्य materials के साथ compatible होने चाहिए। केवल liquid product नहीं, पूरा cleaning system महत्वपूर्ण है।
Process compatibility भी महत्वपूर्ण है
Product के storage, use conditions या residue management requirements facility के approved workflow से fit होने चाहिए।
Compatibility information authoritative sources से आती है
Manufacturer labels, technical information, safety data और surface/equipment instructions appropriate references हैं। Workplace users को products mix करके या chemical combinations improvise करके compatibility test नहीं करनी चाहिए।
