About Metricon

Metricon is Alle's ClinX's free calculator suite for procurement, application, chemistry and operational risk questions. Its current tools run calculations in the browser and are designed to provide a transparent numerical result without requiring an account.

Calculation scope

Built for recurring numbers in hygiene operations.

Metricon groups focused calculators around common procurement, product-use, chemistry and risk questions.

Procurement

Examples include total cost, economic order quantity, supplier scoring and other purchasing or planning models.

Application and usage

Dilution, dosage, coverage, usage and cost-per-use calculations help translate product instructions into working quantities.

Chemistry and risk

The suite also includes chemistry calculations such as concentration, pH, specific gravity and purity, plus risk-oriented models such as concentration of spend or disruption exposure.

Data model

Inputs stay local in the current Metricon design.

The official Metricon materials state that calculator inputs run in browser memory, are not stored or transmitted by the calculator, and do not require an account.

No sign-in

A user can open a calculator without creating a Metricon account.

Browser-side calculation

The calculation can continue after the page is loaded because the numerical work runs locally in the browser.

No saved history

The current design does not maintain a server-side calculator history for the values entered into the tool.

Interpretation

A precise formula still depends on correct inputs.

Metricon can make the arithmetic repeatable, but it cannot know whether an entered concentration, pack size, usage assumption or source figure is correct.

Check units

Confirm litres, millilitres, percentages, currencies, time periods and other units before relying on a result.

Check the source value

For product-specific dilution or dosage, the current label or technical document remains the authoritative source for the input.

Use judgment

Results support analysis and planning; they do not replace professional, legal, laboratory or safety review where those are required.
